THE HISTORY OF THE PARK

To date, the Government decree has opened the Ulytau State National Nature Park in Ulytau district, known for its incredible nature in the Central Kazakhstan region, the sacred zone of the Kazakh Kung Kui. It should be noted that this is the 14th largest national park in the country. "The area of the park, created by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 7, 2021 No. 867, is 58912 hectares. Of these, hilly forests cover 4,646 hectares.
On the lands of the district, the highest point of the Ulytau ridge from the sea is Aulietau Peak (1133m), Mount Edige (1063m). There are granite stones from the ore riches. The new national park consists of 2 different cluster plots of land. 1) Ulytau security zone 20847 2) Arganatinsky security zone 33419 hectares. The peculiarity of the park is that the plants in it are not found in other territories
There are 5 species listed in the "Red Book". These are: Kyrgyz birch, grass grass, two-year-old tulip, bell-shaped tulip, schrenk tulip. To date, 382 plant species have been identified. That is, among the most common types of medicinal plants there are: rosehip, yarrow, karandyz, wagtail, henna, carnation, asterisks, etc. The fauna of the national park is also rich. According to preliminary data, there are 105 species of insects and 345 species of arachnids. 77 species of insects and arachnids found in the study area have been identified. 200 species of birds, 8 species of fish, are taken under the care of the state. In particular, several species of animals listed in the "Red Book" of Kazakhstan, which are rare and endangered on the territory of the state, live under the protection of the park.
It is obvious that the opening of the nature park will contribute to solving the problem of unemployment in our area. Thus, according to the staffing table of the national park, 77 people and 24 freelance people will be employed. The main purpose of the Ulytau State National Natural Park is the preservation of biological and landscape diversity, the use of unique natural complexes and objects of the state natural reserve fund for environmental purposes having special ecological, scientific, historical, cultural and recreational value. The opening of the national park, standing on the slopes of the sacred Ulytau, will protect and preserve the picturesque and picturesque nature of Kazakhstan.

Creation of the Republican State Institution "Ulytau State National Natural Park"

To date, by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 7, 2021 No. 867, the State State National Nature Park "Ulytau" was created in the Ulytau district, known for its incredible nature in the Central Kazakhstan region, a sacred area on the slopes of Ulytau, where the Kazakh bird settled. It should be noted that this is the 14th largest national park in the country. The main purpose of the Ulytau State National Natural Park is the preservation of biological and landscape diversity, the use of unique natural complexes and objects of the state natural reserve fund for the purposes of nature protection and transmission to future generations of special ecological, scientific, historical, cultural and recreational value.

Land area

The land area of the republican state institution "Ulytau National Natural Park" is 58,912 hectares and is distributed as follows:
- Arganaty forest cottage, area -33,419 ha
- Ulytau forest cottage, area-20,847 ha
- Beech forests, area-4,646 hectares

The territory of the national park is divided into 4 functional zones:
- 1. protected area -9091 hectares;
- 2. Environmental stabilization zone -7340 ha;
- 3. Zone of Tourist and recreational activities-10990 ha;
- 4. area of activity with limited farming - 31491 hectares.

Emblem and flag 2 colors are depicted on the basis of the emblem-green and black. Green is the color of nature. The black color means the fight against nature conservation. The emblem itself consists of elements of Aulietau and saiga.
The flag is made in light green color, symbolizing the preservation and survival of the natural environment. The Kazakh national ornament is depicted on the left side of the flag. In the center of the flag is the emblem of the national park.

Hiking trails

According to the program of tourist trails, 4 routes are planned on the way to the peak of Aulietau and Edige. Currently, the passport of the Aulietau hiking trail has been prepared and approved by the Forestry and Wildlife Committee. Together with the NGO "QazaqGeography", a design project was developed for the entrance group of the Aulietau tourist trail of the national park, according to which a tourist trail Stele, an electronic barrier, a parking lot of 600 square meters, 50 pieces of pine trees, a gazebo and garbage cans were installed.
